Post eur/usd
Welcome everyone to the EUR/USD interactive trading thread. The main intention behind starting this thread is so that we can all chat nearly "live" while we trade the eur/usd. Think of this like a cross between a forum thread, a blog, and twitter...

So, to start things off...let me tell you the trade that I'm currently in.

Buy @ 1.2603 TP 1.2786 (daily R3)

So far the trade in riding the money train...

Nice. What system/method do u use? When i look at daily I dont see logic for entry point, brake trough since this week?....or did u enter on another TF? :confused:

I entered on the M30 TF. I use a range breakout system based on bollinger bands, CCI, and a custom volatility indicator that uses multiple moving averages. Position was opened at the opening of the second candle after the breakout of the bb range.

Got stopped out at 1.2655 - 50 pips profit (taking into account spread)

moving on..looks like eur/usd is retracing heavily...could we have a reversal? let's wait and see...

Retracement is complete, re-entered at 1.2683...hoping to get past 1.2787 R3 on daily

The pair has kind of lost momentum so I'm not so sure about this position...I'm watching it closely and will place a tight stop loss on it.

Ok, I'm out..position closed with minor loss...this market is in a range and friday's close is getting near and I don't want to get caught with an open position.

Put in six sell orders ranging from 1.2661 to 1.2671 and closed them at about 1.2634 for $112 profit.

LOL-- I bought all day friday... everytime it sunk a bit--- bought some more-- HOPE ain't a strategy-- BUT speeches on Saturday can't be good for the dollar... Probably open ~ where it closed-- consolidation (1.3-1.25)for a few more weeks-- no reason not too...Might even fire up the O'L FAPS...

Just my 2pips...
