Default strategy tester in mt4 freezes

The strategy tester freezes after I test an ea a certain amount of time. What could be the cause of this? I was just getting used to one of my ea's and it was becomming profitable and then strategy tester started freezing on this ea. However it works normal on other ea.

Are there any errors in either the Expert or Journal tabs?

There was an error in journal tab saying something was wrong with the graph and now I can't even open up strategy tester. Thanks.

Did you by chance download the history data for EURUSD recently? I tried it last week and it completely hosed my MT4. I had to delete some files for it to start again. I wonder if you need to do something similar.

Does anyone know where Strategy tester saves settings/files? I swear I came across the location once but I'll be darned if I can find it now.

I believe it does it in the "tester" folder at the root of the MT4 install dir. There should be a bunch of .ini files there. That folder is also the default settings save folder when you save settings of an EA you've been backtesting.
