MT4 pips instead of dollars

How can I change the unit used for displaying the trade results from dollars to pips in the history window? I know it is possible because I saw it on a screenshots, but I am unable to find it

when you have an order open, right click on it and go to PROFIT then select POINTS to show profit and loss in pips.

To show it in money terms again you can select AS TERM CURRENCY or AS DEPOSIT CURRENCY. No I cant remember the difference between the 2 of them

But anyway thats how you do it.

Oops just re-read your post, thats for open trades, not the history window hmmmm I am not sure.

Unfortunately with MT4 there is no way to do that. There is a workaround though.

A solution for the pips calculation is to open the statement file with MS Excell and use the following function:

=IF(AND(F6<20;C6="buy");(J6-F6)*10000;IF(AND(F6<20;C6="sell");( F6-J6)*10000;IF(AND(F6>20;C6="buy");(J 6-F6)*100;(F6-J6)*100)))

or

=IF(AND(F6<20,C6="buy"),(J6-F6)*10000,IF(AND(F6<20,C6="sell"),( F6-J6)*10000,IF(AND(F6>20,C6="buy"),(J 6-F6)*100,(F6-J6)*100)))
