I have been looking around for a forex mentor and during that process I stumbled across this website that has some useful tips on what to look out for and how the process should go. For any newbies looking for a mentor this is a must read to help you avoid the scammers

Ah Dirk du Toit..I have a copy of his Bird Watching in Lion Country - pretty good material, I think this guy knows what he is talking about and his median trading "system" (if you can call it that) is definitely interesting.

Ganglion are you getting 1-on-1 training from Dirk? And if so how much did you pay?

I learned a huge amount about forex from babypips.com when I was new to forex. This forum is also a huge help for me, although I read more than I post....

I have been learning various fx topics for the last 3 years as well as a couple of fx related courses. Maybe you could use FX Rebellin as a mentor as it contains other topics besides the basic trading plan.

While you are looking for a mentor it would be a good idea to also visit babypips.com for some education, very nice site that explains things pretty simply for the total new trader.

Ganglion, we have something in common, I have also taken a mentorship course in Dirks programme, I must say, separates the rubbish from the gold, maybe I could PM you and discuss some stuff if possible.
