Forex Godfather

Anyone heard of Forex Godfather or actually bought it? If so, please share your opinion and performance testing data with us.

Their sales page makes some mighty big claims, and I wonder if this is another junk commercial EA released to milk the newbies.

Well the price is right .... Have not tried it, however peacearmy site have it running on demo results appear ok, does not trade frequently but when does it makes the pips.

On a side note: I think most of these software developer are more involved in affiliate marketing than product development ... even if they sell you a crap product . They now have your email to start bombard you with sales pitch for all sorts of product.

They sell Ver 1 and then tell you that you need Ver 2.
Now you can not buy 2 unless you buy 1 first.
So they are selling this for $67 + $67 = $134 if you want Ver 2

Yes, that is true. But you can unsubscribe from their mailing list. The serious marketers use mailers like aweber, or icontact which have very good anti-spam policies - in other words you can easily remove yourself from their list.

Wait a second, they're selling you one thing and then they tell you that it's no good and you need Ver 2?! If this is true it constitutes consumer fraud.

Alan, I had an exchange of about 5 or 6 emails with them, and that is what it came down to.
I told them I wanted to buy ver 2, and they said I had to buy ver 1 first.
In fact their website does not show ver 2 until you have bought 1, then they show you 2 and suggest you buy it.

Indeed. Sneaky, unethical marketing. But I didn't know when I bought it. I refused to buy v2. I don't think you need it. The strategy sounds right (based on moving averages and volume) Limited test results are here Forex GodFather Metatrader Expert Adviser Test by Forex Peace Army.

unfortunately it doesnt sound like there is anything wrong with what they have done. they are really just providing an upgrade on their version 1. they will say v 1 works fine BUT v 2 works better. there is no obligation to buy v 2 and v 1 still works in theory so they havent done anything technically wrong. smart marketing by them but maybe enough to put you off as it represents a certain type of character that perhaps you dont want to have to deal with

abaillie I think that's how the majoirty of people will feel. They will think , well, why am I not getting the best. Why should I settle for second best.

IMHO they shuld just raise the price of the existing system and offer free upgrades for life. Smarter and more honest marketing in my opinion. But then again, what do I know?
