The link page is not clear about this. Just a downlioad page for the demo. The FAQ was no help either.

Is ATC the same broker or related to MBT?
Hey eagle, ya ATC and MB Traders are 2 different brokers.

As far as I know MB Traders closed down their beta applicants for their ECN feed thats why I signed up with ATC. I think MBT is going to be the best option later on ultimately but who knows.

Also, FYI, for everyone ODL got scooped up by FXCM. FXCM is getting really BIG, they have something like 300m on the books or something. I hope their service is good, if they had an ecn thatd b tight.

Ciao

ATC is an IB for HotSpotFX if I'm not mistaken.

As a sidenote hotspotfx is another great ECN broker but they officially do not support MT4 so you have to go through their partner - ATC Brokers - to get it.

Exclamation MBT Chat

Hello, i just had the following Conversation via Live-Chat with MBT, maybe some of you guys are interested!?

#####################################

MBT Manny: Hello, Welcome to MB Trading! How may I help you?
markus: hello, i am happy to realize that you offer MT4 as a Trading-Platform now! So i have 2 Questions:
markus: 1.) Do you allow Scalping
markus: 2.) Do you allow the use of EAs in MT4 ?
MBT Manny: One moment please
markus: . i will wait!
MBT Manny: Yes we do allow scalping
MBT Manny: checking on the other...
markus: please...
MBT Manny: Yes, we do allow that as well
markus: Wow, nice. What is the minimum account size/ deposit for openin an account?
MBT Manny: I believe it is the same as the regular Forex Account
MBT Manny: which is $400
MBT Manny: but the information about opening MT4 accounts is not yet available
MBT Manny: since we are on the testing phase
markus: .... and this phase will end.. when?
MBT Manny: Good question markus
MBT Manny: I am waiting on more information from our developers
MBT Manny: We are not sure at this time
markus: ... you are awaiting the answer from your developers... right NOW.. are ' in the future ' ?
MBT Manny: We are waiting on more information
MBT Manny: which I do not have at this time
markus: I see. Thank you very much for your Anwers, have a nice evening.
markus: :-)
MBT Manny: My pleasure, have a great day!

Just to let you know that I am live with ATC: they are pretty awesome so far, but the spreads are not *that* great (although EURUSD during London session is very close to zero) HOWEVER the biggest news is that Knight Capital (owners of Hotspot) are pulling out of retail forex so ATC have had to find a new partner.

They are however promising much lower spreads and continued amazingly in depth customer service (they are fanatics actually). They claim to be the ONLY brokerage to succesfully integrate MT4 with ECN. Most others (i.e. Fastbrokers) use a bridge which is less that robust, apparently.

I also have Fapturbo and only use the scalper in live, and only on EURGBP and GBPCHF. I have noticed a slight deterioration in performance since end of Jan, anyone else getting that?

Lastly, I was lucky enough to get in on the charter group for one of the only 200 copies of E75 system from James De Wet. So far I am pretty blown away with it and he has released 100 further copies that can only be obtained through charter group members. If anyone is interested in the link to the sales page PM me (I do not intend to spam or advertise openly in this forum, just thought there may be some people here who might appreciate the chance to get it). If you know of the G7 system that is a pretty solid performer as well....

Toodle pip!

I too have noticed the spreads are not incredible and they vary a lot so you have to be careful. But I find the execution time to be superior. I get many more trades on Lucky in the demo ECN feed.

So may I ask how you got live access to the ECN?

I thought it was only demo?

I suppose it was from expressing serious interest. Not really sure of their criteria for choosing clients to go live. Has turned out OK though so far. I honestly can't rate the guys at ATC enough, they are true consummate professionals.

And the E75 system & training provided has accelerated my development as a trader. To be recommended! PM me for a link to the sales page if you are interested, I think its nearly sold out again.

What's the latest word on them moving to FXCM as their base broker? (ie the one supplying them with the liquidity and platform)..?

Alan:

FXCM feed has been good...but today the euro/gbp spread has increased to almost 4 wide (U.S. Session). I am not totally convinced that FXCM is spot-on with their ECN pricing. I think FXCM might be manipulating the spread before it gets to ATC (absolute bullshit!!!)...but, since FXCM had feed problems last week...it could be an issue of one or more of their liquidity providers coming back on line (this is just a guess)...but, I think it is more the case of bait and switch.

I dont understand how FXCM can be ATC's "ECN price feed" when FXCM is not an ECN in itself. At best they offer a SPT (straight pass through) solution and at worst a dealing desk for their fxcm micro clients.

ATC should just hook up with Currenex.
